1st June : Yesterday I have observed in the village how Rico already sat again on the chimney of the last week. Kiri was not to be seen and was certainly in it. Besides, unfortunately, I had no camera and because after an hour 1/4 nothing occurred, I have gone home to get a camera.When I came back, both had disappeared. Because both court for one week, it can concern by these actions only only the search for a nesting place.

They ignore their nesting box which I had attached for them outside in the house completely.

Now I have taken the nesting box in and have removed the cover, so that they can climb like in the chimney from above in. However, unfortunately, they behave since last night very peculiarly. They do not approach the place on the birdcage on which they have sat, otherwise, with pleasure at all any more.It seems as if they fear of the new situation have. I do not become they anyway provisionally any more out leave to avoid that they in a chimney with nest start.

When they came last night home the feathers with soot had got dirty with both. Nevertheless, it was gratifying that I have managed rather good pictures of the takeoff and from the arrival.

The soot of the chimney is cleaned mutually. With the courtship display even little paw is held!

Rico does the first experiences with the nesting box... ... and becomes quite slowly a little more courageous.

8th June: They have got used, in the meantime, to the new nesting box and Rico stays predominantly before the hole of the nesting box. I had put the old nesting box on the new to produce very near the usual state. Now I have removed the old nesting box to create a similar access like by the chimney. Now since him goes in also Kiri in the nesting box. There she does peculiar noises (are to be heard with the 2-nd video) which I have never heard before from her. I become more and more sure that she will soon lay her first egg.

15th June: They have not laid an egg yet, but they stay predominantly in and in the nesting box. Yesterday it is to be broken Kiri successfully from and she has enjoyed her excursion. 4 x she has come to me and has cleared out with the Hereintragen every time again.

In the fresh green foliage it is to be found very heavy.

If, however, it is to be heard, it lighter falls them to find.

29th June: Today I have to him beg from Kiri and Rico given and they again out leave, because they with court have stopped and no signs more they pass an egg will lay. After 13 hours they came on time at 20 o'clock 30 again home. Because they have looked clean, they had also not been certainly again in the chimney.

Kiri was quicker and already sits on my shoulder.
